The IUP Alumni Association Board of Directors has reorganized and conduct its first meeting of the academic year on Friday, October 14, the day before Homecoming.
John Ninosky '93, president; Tracey Settle '80, vice president; Tim Burns '90; and Rebecca Pounds '01 make up the officer's slate.
Ninosky, a Harrisburg-based attorney, joined the board in 2012. Settle, who retired from active military duty as an Army colonel and continues to have an active cilvilian career, resides in both Virginia and Florida. He was honored with an IUP Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012.
Burns, of Eighty Four, Pa., is president of ElecTekUSA.
Pounds operates her own dental practice in Pittsburgh.
Katheryn Gillis Kinderman '81 has joined the board, replacing Phil Carrai '83, who served for a number of years and just completed two years as board president. She is the director of the IUP/West Penn Hospital School of Respiratory Care.

The Alumni Association Board of Directors looks for opportunities and programs that enable graduates to stay connected to IUP. Most recently, the board established the IUP Legacy Scholarship, which is awarded to qualifying children and grandchildren of IUP alumni.
