Sissoko Presents Three Papers and Leads Best Undergraduate Student Paper Contest

Yaya Sissoko presented three research papers titled: 1. “Does Regional Variation in Startup Concentration Predict Employment Growth?” (co-authored with Brian Sloboda); 2. “Recent Experiences of Capital Flows and Fiscal Imbalances since the Creation of Eurozone” (co-authored with Brian Sloboda); and 3. “The Colombian Peso: Commodity Currency or Cocaine Currency?” (co-authored with colleague Alexi Thompson) at the Pennsylvania Economic Association (PEA) annual conference at Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, Pa. June 2– 4, 2016.

In addition, Sissoko also attended the annual spring meeting of the PEA Board of Directors on Thursday, June 2, 2016, and led the Sixth Best Undergraduate Student Paper Contest at the 2016 PEA conference in Slippery Rock.
