Curriculum and Instruction doctoral student Thad Dachille presented a poster at the New England Educational Research Organization’s Conference in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in April 2016.
Dachille’s poster was titled “Board Games in the Art Education Classroom: A Critique Strategy.”
Dachille’s poster highlighted a board game alternative to traditional art critique methodology. In addition to describing some of the benefits of this approach, he described how the game format critique opened up new conversations in his classroom.
