Preparation for fall training for community assistants and academic success
mentors is currently underway.
The office of Housing, Residential Living, and Dining (OHRLD) is encouraging professional staff to
present to CAs and ASMs in areas focused around programming and social justice.
Professionals may also consider presenting on any topic that may be of great
use to trainees for the 2016–17 school year.

Community assistants (first, second, and third year) and academic success
mentors (mostly first year)
Tentative sessions are planned for August 18 (from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and August
24 (from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
Professional staff who would like the chance to share their
information with OHRLD paraprofessional staff.
One training day will be focused on programming rotations, the
other on social justice rotations.
