Lorenzi Named New Executive Director of National Fraternity

David Lorenzi, associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Science, has been selected as the new executive director of the Phi Epsilon Kappa national fraternity.

Phi Epsilon Kappa (PEK) is a national honorary fraternity for individuals in the field of kinesiology and the various subdisciplines, including health, physical education, recreation, sport administration, exercise science, and athletic training. 

Lorenzi has been involved with Phi Epsilon Kappa since 1991 when he was inducted into the Beta Epsilon chapter of PEK as an undergraduate student at Slippery Rock University. In 2003, Lorenzi founded the Epsilon Tau chapter of PEK while a faculty member at West Liberty University and has been the faculty advisor for the Gamma Tau chapter at IUP since 2004. Most recently, Lorenzi has served on the National Council of PEK as a director of District I, president-elect, president, and past president.
