The College of Health and Human Services is pleased to announce the following spring 2016 Research Appreciation Award Recipients honored at the 22nd annual Awards Luncheon on April 4, 2016.

Lou Pesci and the Institute for Rural Health and Safety:

Outstanding Center, Institute, or Program Award for continually striving to improve, increase, and enhance the services provided to the IUP and Indiana communities by applying for and receiving external funds.

Pao Ying Hsiao, Food and Nutrition:

Outstanding Achievement in Curriculum and Instruction for her efforts to strive for, create, and/or improve curricular methodologies and/or modalities for the betterment of student learning outcomes through external dollars.

Alida Merlo, Criminology and Criminal Justice:

Dean’s Outstanding Researcher Award in the College of Health and Human Services for her dedication, perseverance, and outstanding work in sponsored research.
