Over the next two weeks, the Leadership Living Learning community will be hosting lunches in Folger Hall where topics such as career/professional development, politics, and establishing/maintaining healthy relationships will be discussed with staff and faculty from IUP. The purpose is to enhance students’ experiences at IUP and education on these topics.

First Lunch: Tuesday, March 22

11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Folger Hall Conference Room

  • Staff/faculty in attendance: Erick Lauber (Department of Journalism and Public Relations), Zac Saeva (assistant director for Career and Professional Development Center), Kevin Foster (assistant director for Student Life/Student Leadership), and Val Baroni (assistant director for Operations; Office of Housing, Residential Living, and Dining)
  • Topic: “Your passions, your career goals, and how to align strengths with your professional goals”

Second Lunch: Wednesday, March 30

11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Folger Hall Conference Room

  • Staff/faculty in attendance: Kevin Foster (assistant director for Student Life/Student Leadership) and Val Baroni (assistant director for Operations; Office of Housing, Residential Living, and Dining)
  • Topic: “What’s driving Trump’s rise?”

If you are interested in attending the second lunch, please e-mail Anthony Majer at a.majer@iup.edu ASAP, as we only have a few student spots left. This will be a great opportunity to network with staff/faculty at IUP and have an educational conversation about politics. This is a casual conversation, and there is no need to dress differently than you normally do.
