Free Planetarium show, Weds. March 16, 2016, 7 PM

The Greatest Spectacles: Hubble Telescope, will give some highlights of a quarter-century of observations by the greatest telescope ever built. See also the current and upcoming highlights in the night sky.

Not everyone is aware of the long planning time that led to the Hubble Space Telescope and the mistake that nearly ruined it. Enjoy a sampling of 25 years of stunning images and surprising discoveries about the Universe.

Shows are at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania planetarium, located on the first floor of Weyandt Hall. Weyandt Hall is on the east side of the Oak Grove next to Oakland Avenue. Weather permitting, after the show telescope observing of the night sky will be available. Seating is limited; doors will open 15 minutes before each show.
