Taylor Jones has been named the February Punxsutawney Person of Purpose.
The monthly award
recognizes the student who is most actively involved in classroom
participation and out-of-classroom opportunities. The recognition
reinforces the critical value of passion, persistence, and purpose of
achieving meaningful success.
Award recipients are chosen from faculty nominations and activity and event participation records.
Jones attended eight cocurricular opportunities and was nominated by Lara Hauer as being among the most
outstanding in mentored events. She has been an Honorable Mention during three of the previous five months. Taylor will receive a $100 award.
Honorable mentions go to Candice Proctor, Becca Rhoades, and Jasmine Sewell.
