Known for his consistently raw, emotional, and energetic performances, Lee Brice, with Dylan Scott, will crisscross the country and land at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex (KCAC) for his current Life Off My Years tour on Saturday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m.
After a whirlwind year filled with hit singles, sold-out tour dates, and TV show appearances, Curb recording artist Lee Brice—whose RIAA Gold-certified “Drinking Class” enjoyed a long stay toward the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart—has been named the most played song on country radio in 2015 (chart date 12/19). Brice will continue to celebrate when he hits Indiana,Pa.
The “evocative rough-edged singer” (New York Times) earned the same distinction in 2010 with “Love Like Crazy.” That smash hit remained on the Billboard charts for more than a year, breaking Eddy Arnold’s 60-year-old record in the process. With “Drinking Class,” Lee Brice now earns his second Most Played Song honor, capping off a busy year that also included a pair of ACM Awards for “I Don’t Dance.”
Earlier in 2015, the CMA Single of the Year nominee performed on NBC’s The Voice, delivered a featured performance on CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock (ABC), and was the only country artist to play the iHeartRadio Music Festival’s Daytime Village Stage this summer. A dedicated road warrior, Brice recently became the only country artist to perform in all 50 states this year, celebrating his 50th state show in Rome, Ga.—a date that sold out in less than three minutes.
Curb recording artist Lee Brice was ready celebrate the New Year by launching his Life Off My Years concert tour with his good friend and running buddy Tyler Farr. But, with Farr undergoing emergency vocal chord surgery and enforced vocal rest, the Academy of Country Music Song and Single of the Year winner was forced to give his friend time to heal and has tapped CMA winners Maddie & Tae, Clare Dunn, and Jerrod Niemann to fill Farr’s boots. The special guest for the KCAC show will be announced at a later date.
