Mujeres Latinas en Busca
de Salud is a new website created by MARTI as a resource to provide information
on a variety of health-related topics that affect Latina women in the United
States. The website was created as a part of a campaign to improve the health
of Latina women in the United States by providing information to much-needed,
yet commonly lacking, health resources.
New information is continually being added to the website.
Currently, the site draws together links to resources and provides
information on domestic violence and obesity. Forthcoming information will
address additional health-related topics, including diabetes, asthma,
depression, breast cancer, and osteoporosis, among others. Also to be included
is information on resources related to sexual health, addiction, vaccines, and
means of protection and rights in the workplace.
Information on what is currently listed can be found on the
Mujeres Latinas en Busca de Salud homepage.
