For the second year, the
Department of Food and Nutrition is cosponsoring the annual Cold Hands, Warm Heart 5K Run and Nutrition and Fitness Fair.
Saturday, February 13, 2016
9:15 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
In addition to the 5K run, many demonstrations of fitness-related activities for all ages will occur.
Food and Nutrition students will provide food samples, recipes, and nutrition tips all based around the theme of “Keys to a Healthy Heart.” Local chefs and cooks will compete to make the most delicious, healthiest, heart-smart side dish.
