Director of the Center for Family Business, Ellen Ruddock, and Chairman of the Indiana County Commissioners, Rodney Ruddock, spoke with the Leadership Indiana County program participants recently about leadership in the public, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors. Each described their extensive leadership experiences and answered questions about the challenges of leading.
The Leadership Indiana County (LIC) program is a countywide, multimonth training program for 25–45-year-old business and community leaders. It is offered to the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce and administered by the MARTI Institute at IUP.
Director of the program is Erick Lauber, under the supervision of Alex Heckert (Sociology, which houses the PhD in Administration and Leadership Studies) and Victor Garcia (Anthropology , director of the MARTI Institute).
