Freshman Benefits from New Scholarship for Criminology Students

Rose Solomond (Keller Scholarship Awardee) with Dean Mark CorreiaA freshman in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice is now benefiting from the generosity of the Beaumont Foundation of America, which established a scholarship in honor of its chief operating officer.

Rose Solomond received the C. Edward Keller Scholarship, a merit- and need-based scholarship that provides full tuition. After graduation, Solomond hopes to work in government service.

Keller graduated from IUP in 1974. Before joining the Beaumont Foundation, he had distinguished careers with both the Maryland State Police and the FBI.
