Sissoko Presents and Oversees Undergraduate Student Paper Contest at PEA Annual Meeting

Yaya Sissoko presented three research papers at the Pennsylvania Economic Association (PEA) annual conference at Penn State–Berks, Reading, Pa., May 28–30, 2015.

The papers were titled:

  1. “Explaining the Flows of Foreign Investments to Emerging Markets: The Case of South Africa” (co-authored with Inoussa Boubacar)
  2. “The Change in Workforce Patterns on a County Level in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 1997–2013” (co-authored with Brian Sloboda)
  3. “Trade Openness, FDI and Economic Growth: Empirical Causality Evidence from Singapore and Malaysia”

In addition, Sissoko also led the Fourth Best Undergraduate Student Paper Contest at the PEA conference.
