Due to popular demand, the IUP Community Music School has added a third Ukulele Song-Along camp for youth to its summer offerings. The camp will take place from 9:30–11:00 a.m. Monday–Friday, August 10–14, in Room 102 of Cogswell Hall. It is being offered to youth ages 8–12, or if they will be in grades 3–8 during the 2015–16 school year.

Spend a week of fun-filled mornings with IUP Music Education professor Laura Ferguson, playing ukuleles and singing crazy tunes on the beautiful IUP campus. While results are not guaranteed, there is a better-than-average chance you will achieve master-level entertainment skills that will amaze family members, astonish your friends, and annoy your pets! As with the first two sessions, the number of provided ukuleles is limited to 20, so sign up early!

The cost is $65, which includes tuition and a $25 IUP CMS registration fee. If either of the previous two sessions have already been taken, the cost is only $40. An additional $20 discount is given to children who bring their own ukulele.

The IUP Community Music School is supported in part by the College of Fine Arts, Rotary of Indiana, Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance, and Aramark. Questions about the IUPCMS or the Ukulele Song-a-Long may be directed to community-music@iup.edu.
