Lorraine Guth, Laura Marshak, Ellen Stewart, and Courtney Williams recently conducted the presentation “Social justice: Strategies for making counseling accessible for people with intellectual disabilities” at the American Counseling Association (ACA) Conference in Orlando, Florida.

ACA is the world’s largest association representing professional counselors in various practice settings, and this presentation was well received. Stewart is a current graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and Williams is an alumna of the Department of Counseling.
