Marketing Day was held on April 1, 2015, from noon to 4:00 p.m. in the
Eberly College of Business and Information Technology Atrium.
The goal of Marketing Day was to promote the Marketing
Department to undecided students, as well as to help bring faculty and students
closer together. This ice cream social also allowed students to ask questions
about the department, get to know other marketing students, and familiarize
themselves with the professors.
About 200 people showed up throughout the day to enjoy the
ice cream that was being served by Marketing faculty and students. On display
at the event were advertising student projects and research boards from the
master’s level classes. A representative from Pearson Learning was also in
attendance to conduct focus groups with business students on a new program they

major and president of SMA. “Students were really interested in the Marketing
Department and asked a lot of questions. We were also happy to see professors bring
their classes down for a quick break.”
