Crimson Hawks Men’s Basketball Hosts Gannon on Saturday Night

Come out for an exciting night of basketball at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex (KCAC) this Saturday, February 7, as the IUP Crimson Hawks men’s basketball team takes on the Gannon Golden Knights at 7:30 p.m.

We encourage everyone to attend this game, sponsored by Giant Eagle, to support your number 18 men’s basketball team and catch the special halftime presentation of the alumni team.

IUP students should also plan to be in attendance for Saturday night’s games as the Student Co-Op Association will once again sponsor the Shoot for a Hundred contest during the men’s game. One lucky student will have the chance to win $300 if they can sink a three-point shot. If they miss the shot, the $300 will go back into the pot for the next game’s Shoot for a Hundred. The Apartment Store will also be handing out Rally Towels for students sitting in their section with the Crimson Crazies!

Sharon’s Dance Studio will perform at halftime of the game, and the IUP Pep Band will also be in attendance to get the crowd full of Crimson Hawk spirit. This will be the last game for the “Kiss Cam” before Valentine’s Day, and the Marion Center ROTC will present the colors for this game. Fans and families will not want to miss this thrilling night of fun!

Tickets are still available to see the Crimson Hawks on Saturday night, starting at just $9 each, and may be purchased online at the Kovalchick Complex or by visiting the KCAC box office located at 711 Pratt Drive. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. For groups of 10 or more, call 724-357-5205 to receive a $2 discount on tickets in select sections.
