Undergraduate research adds tremendous value to a student's overall educational experience. The School of Graduate Studies and Research encourages and supports undergraduate students by funding student travel to present papers, posters, and creative works and also by awarding undergraduate research grants.

Two new funding opportunities for undergraduate student research have been added this year:

  • Undergraduate Student Professional Development - Students can apply for up to $300 per year to support their participation in scholarly and creative activities that add to their professional development in a significant way.
  • Undergraduate Student Publication Costs - Costs associated with the publication of articles in peer-reviewed scholarly journals, which pay no royalty or fee to the author, will be funded up to a limit of $500.
