Te Amo, Argentina is an original tango performance that will get you up
and moving on
February 11, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium. Through music, dance, and video, it draws in audiences all over with the journey through the heart
Te Amo, Argentina combines tango dancers Miriam Larici and
Leonardo Barrionuevo with the Latin Grammy-winning cellist Antonio Lysy. They will also be joined by the Attacca String Quartet. The
mix of dancing and music combined with original video is sure to inspire.
Te Amo, Argentina is part of the Ovations! series under the Lively Arts’
25th anniversary season.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online, or at the
HUB Ticket Office, 724-357-1313. Tickets are priced at $26 (regular), $22
(discount for senior citizens and groups of 15 or more), and $14 (I-Card holders, students, and children).

and soul of Argentina’s fascinating culture. This performance features solo cello and
chamber works, dance, film, and the spoken word. The Te Amo, Argentina ensemble,
consisting of six outstanding musicians and Tango dancers Miriam Larici and
Leonardo Barrionuevo, joins cellist Antonio Lysy in this inspiring homage to the
music of Argentina, from Amerindian rhythms of the Andes Mountains to the
sounds of the city-street cafés of Buenos Aires.
