An article by Katie Monsour, Curriculum and Instruction doctoral student and teaching associate, “New Media Poetics in the English Classroom” was accepted for publication in English in Texas, vol. 44.1.
This article serves to inform classroom teachers of the uses of new media. Born digital works, new media poetics, and digital compositions are addressed. Implications for classroom use are discussed.
Monsour will be presenting at the Texas Council of Teachers of English Language Arts on new media in January 2015.
