Following the performance of the Broadway touring production of Sister Act, the Lively Arts will offer a “real-world” educational opportunity to area high school and IUP students who have an interest in theater. The session will be presented in the Mezzanine Lobby of Fisher Auditorium following the January 20, 2015, performance.
The six participating actors have a wealth of experience with very diverse and interesting backgrounds, including one ensemble member singing opera in China for 14 months. They are Tara Tagliaferro as “Mary Martin-of-Tours,” as well as ensemble members Kaitlyn Etter, Kristin Litzenberg, Jennie Joefree, Adewonu-ola Ogunfowora, and Megan Opalinski.
Interested individuals are encouraged to read about their backgrounds on the Sister Act website.
The outreach is presented by ArtsPath, the arts-in-education program of the Lively Arts. Questions may be directed to arts-in-education services coordinator Jeff Wacker at firstname.lastname@example.org, or you may call the Lively Arts at 724-357-2787.
