The Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex (KCAC) is pleased to welcome for the first time Christian music icons the Newsboys on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., featuring special guests Audio Adrenaline and Finding Favour.

Currently comprised of lead vocalist Michael Tait, drummer Duncan Phillips, guitarist Jody Davis, and keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein, the Newsboys band is an undisputed industry leader, garnering six gold albums, eight million units in career sales, 33 number-one singles, multiple Grammy and American Music Award nominations, and signature hits ranging from “He Reigns” and “Born Again” to their recent 15-week chart-topper, “We Believe.”

God’s Not Dead, the best-selling 2011 Inpop recording, has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The band’s sixth career Gold album, God’s Not Dead, was produced by Seth Mosley and features the blockbuster title cut. The song garnered an RIAA Gold single certification earlier this year, topped the CHR chart for seven consecutive weeks, and inspired the Pure Flix hit film God’s Not Dead. The album also features Newsboys’ signature spin on such worship favorites as “Your Love Never Fails,” “Forever Reign,” and “Mighty To Save,” among others.

For almost three decades, the Newsboys have consistently made new and exhilarating music and are constantly driven to continue singing their message of hope and faith. While keeping things fresh, poignant, meaningful, and deep can be a hard task, Newsboys continue to push through new ceilings and reach uplifting heights with their messages through music.
