At the close of the IUP Middle States survey on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, 2,434 people completed all or part of the survey, giving the survey a 14.4 percent response rate.

The IUP Middle States Steering Committee and subcommittees will soon be analyzing thousands of open-ended responses and detailed quantitative data in order to answer research questions and draft IUP’s Middle States Self-Study.

The survey was an important piece in the data-gathering process for the reaccreditation process. Thank you to all who completed the IUP Middle States Survey! The committee would like to extend a special thank you to Paul Hawkins, a graduate student in the Department of Criminology, who designed and administered the survey.

The breakdown of the 2,343 who people took all or part of the IUP Middle States Survey is as follows:

  • Faculty: 442 (out of 770)
  • Staff and administration: 410 (out of 1,124)
  • Students: 1,557 (out of 14,369)
