Nineteen participants from nine different
companies successfully completed the Mini MBA Certificate Program offered by
the IUP Eberly College of Business and Information Technology at Northpointe.
Northpointe campus director Richard
Muth worked with Eberly to help manage the program and ensure its success.
“The Min MBA certificate program is an
important type of training for working adults that makes them more valuable to
their employers,” said Muth. “Our goal was to provide a professional
development opportunity to the community and this program helped to give participants
(regardless of their educational background) a broad view of key areas of an organization.”
Four of the graduates received 35 human
resource recertification credits that will go toward maintaining their HR
certification. This was the first time HR recertification credits were offered
for this program.
IUP at Northpointe hosted the 60-hour
program from September 9 through November 11, 2014. The program consisted of 10 classes, each
lasting six hours.
“I
feel the class was very beneficial, and I hope that you continue the program
with successful results,” said Brendan Docherty, a program graduate from CID
Associates, Inc.
