You Will Soon Be Invited to Participate in a Survey for Middle States Self Study Report

The most important part of the Middle States Commission of Higher Education accreditation process is the Self Study Report, where IUP poses questions about itself, its goals, its strengths, its weaknesses, and its opportunities. Much of the information necessary to answer these questions will come from a campus-wide survey, which will be distributed Tuesday, October 28, 2014.

All members of the IUP community—students, faculty, staff, and administrators—will have the opportunity to take the survey.

The survey is open from Tuesday, October 28 until Tuesday, November 11 at 11:59 p.m. and can be taken any time from any computer, laptop, or mobile device.

If you would like help taking the survey, there will be graduate assistants available at the locations and times listed below:

  1. IUP Library, Stapleton 113, November 4, 5, and 6 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  2. Robertshaw Computer Lab (Room 43) on November 4, 5, and 6 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
  3. Applied Research Lab, 107B Stright Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Staff are permitted to take the survey during work hours, and are not required to submit leave time

The IUP Middle States survey is an extremely important part in the university's accreditation. Reaffirming accreditation ensures the availability of federal financial aid for our students, and assures all of our stakeholders that we are delivering on our mission of providing a high quality educational experience to our students.
