In
observance of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, the IT Support
Center is sponsoring a Cyber Security Awareness Creative Project Contest. IUP
students are encouraged to generate creative projects that could be used to
build awareness of safe online behaviors and awareness of cyber security
threats. This program will encourage cyber security vigilance and protection by
all computer users.
Creative
project ideas include PSAs, videos, podcasts, infographics, and posters. Check
the National Cyber Security Awareness Month Creative Project Guidelines for
submission instructions, as well as for the scoring criteria. The creator or creators of the winning project will receive $100 in Visa gift cards, donated by ePlus of Pittsburgh.
The deadline for submission has been extended to November 17, 2014, at 11:59 p.m. For more resources and
information regarding, visit the IT Support Center's National Cyber
Security Awareness Month page.
