The IUP Research Institute is pleased to announce a new research-related initiative at IUP. The PI Mentorship Academy (PIMA) is seeking participants for the first cohort to start immediately!
Faculty, managers, and SCUPA employees can be nominated by their dean or division VP, or apply themselves. Self-applications are to be submitted to the dean/VP.
PIMA participants will receive structured, customized experiences (including educational resources, an appointed mentor, and financial support) to engage in a variety of program activities that are intended to strengthen the understanding of sponsored activities (grants, contracts, etc.) and, eventually, lead to long-term success with external funding agencies.
The application/nomination form for PIMA provides a detailed description of the expectations and requirements of the program. Please review these expectations carefully. If you are interested in participating in the first cohort program, you must complete the application/nomination form and submit it to your dean/VP.
The submission deadline is October 1, 2014. If you have any questions regarding PIMA, please contact your dean/VP or the PIMA coordinator, Tracy Eisenhower, senior grant and contract specialist at the IUP Research Institute. Tracy can be reached at 724-357-1915 or email@example.com.
