Wachob Presents on Homeschooled Children’s Cardiovascular Health

David Wachob, assistant professor in the Health and Physical Education Department, presented his research entitled “Influence of the Parent-Teacher on the Cardiovascular Health and Body Composition of Homeschooling Children” at the American College of Sports Medicine’s 61st annual meeting, Orlando, Fla.

The paper, coauthored with Robert Alman, and presentation examined the parent-teacher’s influence on their children’s health indicators within the environmental context of the homeschool setting. 

The conference abstracts were published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Volume 46:5 Supplement.
