New Handicapped Access Route Due to Sutton Circle Reconfiguration

Posted on 5/14/2014 9:23:46 AM

Because of the closing of South Drive to reconfigure the Sutton Hall service area, the driving route for handicapped access to Sutton’s north entrance (in the Oak Grove) has been modified. The new route is as follows:

  1. Enter from Oakland Avenue between Weyandt and Elkin Halls, follow directional signs past Weyandt, Walsh, and Leonard Halls.
  2. Turn right on the sidewalk between Leonard and McElhaney Halls.
  3. Upon entering the Oak Grove, turn left and follow the sidewalk to the northeast door (handicapped entrance) on the Ground Floor of Sutton Hall.
  4. Exit via the same route.

This route should be used only for handicap access and emergency situations.

Vendors and all deliveries must contact University Police at 724-357-2141 before driving through campus on the sidewalk.

Special care must be exercised when driving on sidewalks. Flashers should be turned on.

Parking is not permitted in unauthorized spaces!

Driving on the grass is not permitted.
