Mimi Benjamin, assistant professor in the Student Affairs in Higher Education Department, presented a lecture at the Mary Walter Leadership Series at Clarion University of Pennsylvania on April 17, 2014.

The Mary Walter Leadership Series brings together leaders from the Golden Eagle community to facilitate open dialogue about leadership development topics. These sessions, which include faculty and community members, are provided by the Center for Leadership and Involvement to enhance leadership development on campus. This year’s theme for the leadership series is “Defining Your Purpose.”

Benjamin is an alumna of Clarion University and was mentored by the late Mary Walter, for whom the leadership series is named. Her presentation on “Authentic Leadership” was the final event of six for the year.
