Matolyak Publishes on Essential Physics for Non-Physics Majors

John Matolyak (professor emeritus) and Ajawad Haija (professor), both of the IUP Physics Department, recently had their non-calculus general physics textbook published.

Entitled Essential Physics, the book was published by CRC/Taylor & Francis Group and released in January 2014.

The textbook is directed at non-physics science majors and stresses the physics essentials needed by students in the non-physics sciences.
