IUP Libraries are here to help you through your finals! Not
only are librarians on hand, as usual, to aid you in finding, accessing, and
using the best resources for your assignments, but we’re extending hours and
offering some extra support during this stressful time.
Beginning Sunday, December 1, the Stapleton/Stabley Library will be open
extended hours to accommodate end-of-term academic activity. The hours will be as follows:
On Tuesday, December 2, and Wednesday, December
3, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., peer educators from Health AWAREness
will provide information on how stress impacts your health, as well as share
stress reduction techniques. Students can pick up a “Stress Reduction Kits” full of items to help them relax during finals week in Stapleton on
the first floor.
IUP Libraries will offer a variety of de-stress activities
like crafts and board games in Stapleton on the first floor. Keep up with us on
Facebook and Twitter for details!
Sunday, December 8, through Thursday, December 12, IUP
Libraries will give out free cookies and coffee to help students power through
their studying. Cookies and coffee will be available from 7:00 p.m. for as long
as supplies last in Stapleton on the first floor.
Tuesday, December 10, from 2:30–5:00 p.m., APSCUF
(the faculty union) will provide cookies and hot chocolate for students. Stop by
and see them in Stapleton on the first floor!
