IUP is now accepting applications for the Frederick Douglass Scholars Fellowship. The university hopes to host two scholars in summer 2014 and one full-year scholar in the academic year 2014–2015.
The Douglass Scholars Fellowships are designed to provide professional experiences, mentoring, and potential employment opportunities within a university that is strongly committed to cultural diversity. At IUP, fellows are sought whose research, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Applicants from diverse cultural backgrounds, especially those from historically underrepresented groups, are encouraged to apply. Application packets for summer and full-year opportunities are accepted in all fields and disciplines represented at IUP. Priority consideration will be given to applications postmarked by January 17, 2014.
