Back by popular demand after their extraordinarily successful performance debut at Fisher Auditorium in Fall 2011, Mnozil Brass will spend time answering questions from both local and regional high school music students and IUP students.
The Vienna-based Mnozil Brass will present a Q&A-style workshop from
3:00–4:00 p.m. in Gorell Recital Hall on Friday, October 18, 2013, to
IUP music students, as well as invited local and regional high school
music students.
The session will be moderated by Matt Baumer, Music History professor at IUP, with members of the brass IUP brass faculty assisting. Although IUP brass students have the opportunity to submit questions for consideration early through a GoogleDoc to tuba/euphonium professor Zach Collins, anyone is welcome to attend and participate in the discussion. The group presented a similar workshop two years ago, which was very well received.
For more information on the outreach session, or their evening performance at 8:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium, please contact the Lively Arts at 724-357-2787.
