In collaboration with the Lively Arts at IUP, the Indiana Cares Campaign is bringing Pittsburgh’s Renaissance City Choirs to campus for a one-night-only performance at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013, in Gorell Recital Hall, Sutton Hall.
The Renaissance City Choirs is Southwestern Pennsylvania's only LGBTQ choral group. The men’s and women’s choirs as well as a mixed choir will perform “Love and Our Families,” a musical celebration of family through the eyes of the LGBTQ community. The concert features songs by Eric Lane Barnes, James Mulholland, Jonathan Larson, and more.
The group strives to promote a positive image and contribute to the cultural life of the tri-state area. The choir's diverse repertoire includes contemporary and traditional music, commissioned works, and music from various world cultures.

This special performance by the Renaissance City Choirs celebrates the 10th annual Indiana LGBT Film Festival, which will again run on Sunday evenings in October.
