Tickets on Sale: Mnozil Brass and “The Brothers Karamazov”

Tickets are now available for the next Ovations! and Theater-by-the-Grove events. Mnozil Brass will perform on Friday, October 18, 2013, and The Brothers Karamazov will be presented October 17–20. Tickets for both shows can be purchased though the HUB Box Office, in person, by calling 724-357-1313, or online at IUP Tickets.

Back by popular demand, Mnozil Brass combines music with a good dose of absurdist theater. The show will be presented at 8:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium on Friday, October 18. Reserved seating tickets are $24 regular, $20 discount, and $12 with an I-Card.

The sweeping saga of Dostoyevsky’s last epic novel, The Brothers Karamazov, becomes a spiritual drama in the Waller Hall Studio Theater. Adapted and directed by Matko Srsen, the play will be presented at 8:00 p.m. on October 17–19, and at 2:00 p.m. on October 20, 2013. General admission tickets are $14 regular, $12 discount, and $9 with an I-Card.

An Austrian septet that combines musical virtuosity with absurdist theatre, the group’s name means “nozzle,” and refers to the Mnozil Pub, a little place near the Vienna College of Music where the founding members used to get together to drink and play music.
