Mueller Discusses “Recent Findings from Higher Education Research” at Secular Student Alliance Conference

John Mueller, Department of Student Affairs in Higher Education, was invited to speak at the 13th annual conference of the Secular Student Alliance in Columbus, Ohio, on July 13, 2013.

In his talk, titled “Recent Findings from Higher Education Research,” Mueller and his copresenter (Kathleen Goodman, Miami University) discussed their recent publications and their ongoing research agenda, as well as research and scholarship in higher education and other social sciences.  

The Secular Student Alliance (SSA), founded in 2000, has over 350 affiliated college and high school student groups around the country. According to its website, the mission of the SSA is to organize, unite, educate, and serve students and student communities that promote the ideals of scientific and critical inquiry, democracy, secularism, and human-based ethics.
