Here’s a list of great activities we’re offering all week to showcase how IUP Libraries support students, staff, and faculty success through a variety of essential resources, services, and programs.

Be part of the fun. Join us in celebrating your IUP Libraries!

#itsatIUPLibraries Twitter Promotion

Throughout the week leading up to and during National Library Week, IUP Libraries will give away prizes to students, staff, and faculty who send us photos on Twitter of their favorite things at the Library.

Tweet your photos to @IUPLibraries and use the hashtag #itsatIUPLibraries.

Photos can depict any of the Library’s resources, services, people, items, etc., ranging from a helpful service to a favorite study spot to a librarian! The hashtag will also be printed on signs around the Library that can be used for photos. Please remember to respect people’s right to privacy by obtaining permission from any individuals included in your photos. Photos should also adhere to the IUP Student Code of Conduct.

“Bring Your Assignment” Promotion

All week we’ll give away bags of goodies to students who bring their class assignment to the Reference Desk. The Reference Desk is staffed by highly trained librarians who can help students navigate their way through the wealth of information resources available through IUP Libraries and the Internet. This is a great opportunity for students to get research help AND free stuff!
