Religious Studies professor Harold Morales gave a talk on the Sikh religion and pluralism at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Indiana on March 3, 2013.
Morales, a professor of world religions and Islamic studies, discussed Sikh beliefs and practices and working with religious diversity in America.
The talk was prompted by the desire of the Indiana U.U. community to better understand the Sikh religion, given current discrimination and violence directed against Sikhs in the United States.
The Religious Studies Department works to foster better education and more peaceful interactions among people reflecting differences of all kinds, both in the classroom and in the communities we serve.
