The “Everyone Matters at IUP” committee has been recognized as the National Spotlight for February 2013 by the National Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls for their work creating a great campaign as part of this global social media campaign encouraging inclusivity and nonjudgment.

Everyone Matters brings together under one banner EVERYONE who is judged and stereotyped by their appearance and/or what group they may belong to—black, white, gay, straight, male, female, disabled, senior, overweight, religious, ethnic, etc.

National Residence Hall Honorary is an organization that strives to recognize leaders within the residence halls and university apartments for their outstanding contributions to the residence life community. It recognizes on a monthly basis individuals, groups, or programs that have made a positive impact on their community.

Monthly award winners are selected at the chapter level, and then sent to the regional organization, Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls.

Those who win at the regional level are sent to the national level, the National Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls, where they are judged against other regional winners from around the country.

Congratulations to the “Everyone Matters at IUP” committee for putting together a tremendous, nationally recognized campaign!
