The School of Graduate Studies and Research recognizes up to five graduate students each year who have completed what their academic departments believe to be outstanding research projects. The winners of these $100 awards are selected by the Student Research Awards Committee following the review of a faculty nomination letter and a completed proposal. Awards are then presented to graduate students each spring at the Research Awards Luncheon (April 1, 2013).
Students who have completed outstanding research projects this academic year and graduated in May, August, or December 2012, or who have finished their project and will graduate in May 2013, are eligible for this award. Please see the Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award Guidelines for proposal submission instructions. The deadline for proposal packages is March 1, 2013.
The 2012 Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award winners and links to previous award winners are available on the Research website.
