John Wesley Lowery, associate professor and chair of the Department of Student Affairs in Higher Education, was part of a multi-disciplinary team that presented a day-and-a-half-long program about the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on January 7–8, 2013.
The program was presented at the Jeanne Clery Act Training Seminar. The seminar faculty also included Cary Anderson, vice president for Student Life at Saint Joseph’s University, and Alison Kiss, Clery Center executive director.
Lowery was also one of the Subject Matter Experts who worked with Security on Campus to develop the original curriculum for the Jeanne Clery Act Training Seminar as well as several of revisions to the curriculum.
