Mitch JamesAre you participating in this year’s National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) event? Do you wonder whether it’s even possible to write a complete novel in one month?

Discuss fiction writing and NaNoWriMo at the Writing Center’s Lunch and Learn discussion on Friday, November 9, 2012. Mitch James, an IUP English instructor and doctoral student in the Composition and TESOL program, will be in the Writing Center (218 Eicher Hall) at 12:30 to lead a discussion on fiction and publishing.

James received a master’s degree in Literature from IUP and has had poetry and fiction published with Etopia Press, Decomp Lit, Underground Voices, and Kill Author, among others. He has work forthcoming in Digital Americana and Blue Earth Review as well as a short story collection, The Cut Worm Forgives the Plow, from Etopia Press.

Attendees are welcome to bring questions, discussion topics, and a lunch to eat in the Writing Center during the event. We look forward to seeing you this Friday!
