The Eberly College of Business and Information Technology celebrated homecoming this year by participating in the IUP Homecoming Parade on October 6, 2012.
The parade began at 10:00 a.m. on Philadelphia Street. Numerous organizations from IUP and the Indiana County community participated in the parade for a crowd of spectators.
The Eberly College of Business float featured a truck flatbed, supplied by Hot Shot Huey Transport Company. Representatives of the college included Eberly’s Crimson Court representative, Sarah Stone; officers of Eberly’s Student Advisory Council, Erin Puko and Rebecca Soder; and student organization representatives Matthew Wilking and Jessica Shaw. Assistant Dean Dorothy Gracey attended for Dean Robert Camp. Although the weather was dimsal and rainy, all representatives relished the chance to ride on the float.
“I was very honored to be an IUP Homecoming representative for the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. Being a part of something so great has truly impacted me to become who I am and who I aspire to be,” said Stone.
With this year’s success, the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology hopes to continue participation in IUP’s annual Homecoming Parade.
