10,000-Step Challenge

The James G. Mill Fitness Center will begin its new fall fitness program, running from September 24 through November 19, 2012. Each participant will wear a pedometer and record the number of steps at the end of each day. The person with the most steps at the end of the eight weeks will receive a free one-year membership to the James G. Mill Fitness Center.

The program will include a pedometer, nutrition assessments, blood pressure screenings, and a log sheet to count your daily steps.

There will be a $15 registration fee plus a $20 eight-week gym membership for non-members. Registration will start on Monday, September 10, and end Friday, September 21.

The program is open to the whole community, along with IUP faculty, staff, and students.
