Note to Those Who Enter Central Storeroom Reservations

Posted on 3/20/2012 1:59:47 PM

In our continued effor to best serve you, our campus customers, we ask that you take careful note of the recipient name and unloading points on the Central Storeroom reservations.

This is a reminder of procedures that have been presented during Central Storeroom Reservation training. This is also outlined in the procedures that are on the Central Stores website.

This is the person who will be receiving the reservation in your office. More than likely it will be you, the person entering the reservation.

Please be sure that you enter the recipient as Last name, First name. The field is not very large, and several of you may only get your last name, or, in some circumstances, part of your last name entered. Our packaging and tracking is sorted by campus customers’ last name; therefore, the last name is the most critical. If someone enters “Linda,” you can imagine how hard it is for us to identify the person that is to receive the reservation.

Unloading Point

The unloading point should be the same for each line item on the reservation. Building and room number is the most efficient entry. An unloading point of G54 unfortunately cannot be delivered without a building associated with it.

Multiple Unloading Points

Please remember that, if you have multiple unloading points, you will need to enter a separate reservation for each of the unloading point reservations.

If at any time you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
