This Reflective Practice large group meeting will be held on Wednesday March 7, 2012, from 3:35-4:45 p.m. in the Allenwood, Ackerman Hall.
Many students dread working in groups and question their value. Some faculty, even understanding the value of group work, struggle to assess such complex activity. In this presentation, Laurel Black of the English Department will facilitate a discussion about how to break down group work into components and sort through ways of assessing those group projects so they don't swamp faculty, but do extend student learning.
No rsvps are necessary.
