Jalongo Copublishes Review of Young Children’s Vocabulary Development

Dr. Mary Renck Jalongo, Department of Professional Studies in Education, and Dr. Michelle Sobolak (University of Pittsburgh) publish an integrative review of the literature on young children’s vocabulary development.

“Supporting Young Children’s Vocabulary Growth: The Challenges, The Benefits, and Evidence-Based Strategies” was published in Early Childhood Education Journal in March 2011 and was among the top downloaded articles throughout the year. Dr. Jalongo and Dr. Sobolak collaborated on the manuscript.
